Barbara Gardner - Violin

Barbara Gardner has had extensive orchestral experience and for some years was a member of the Melbourne Symphony orchestra and the ABC Showband. Barbara gained her L.R.S.M. (Licentiate Royal School of Music) in New Zealand and was invited to study under Max Rostal in London. In 1990 she was invited to study at the Moscow Conservatory which is located at Rutgers University, New Jersey.

Barbara has toured with artists such as Liberace, Samy Davis Jnr, Dionne Warwick, Gene Pitney and Diana Ross. For five years Barbara was also leader of the prestigious Sydney Palm Court Orchestra.

Barbara has been the Concertmaster of the Gold Coast Philharmonic since 1999. Barbara also enjoys painting in oils and acrylic and her plans include opening an art  gallery in the country.
